GB News remains silent on the rapid rise of Restore Britain and refuses to invite Rupert Lowe on air.Reform UK’s Chairman, David Bull, even defended GB News’s “editorial decision” to blank them.GB News bills itself as 'Britain's News Channel'. That comes with a duty to cover significant political developments important to the British people, whether they like them or not.Restore Britain is a registered party and has become a major national movement with huge support.Enough is enough. Restore Britain Coverage

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding what appears to be a clear editorial decision to exclude both Rupert Lowe and the Restore Britain movement from coverage on GB News. This concern was reinforced when Dr David Bull publicly stated on X that the absence of Rupert Lowe from your programming was an editorial decision. That statement strongly suggests Mr Lowe has effectively been blacklisted from appearing on your channel since leaving Reform UK. For a broadcaster that regularly presents itself as a champion of free speech and open debate, such a move raises serious questions about editorial fairness.Equally concerning is the near-total absence of coverage of Restore Britain. Whatever one's political view of the movement, it is plainly a matter of public interest. Restore Britain has gained more members than both the Liberal Democrats and the Conservative Party, yet your channel has not meaningfully covered it.GB News' own Editorial Charter states commitment to due impartiality and plurality of views. This emphasises the importance of representing a broad range of perspectives within political debate. Excluding a significant political movement and one of the most recognisable political figures associated with it appears inconsistent with those commitments. Many viewers are familiar with Rupert Lowe and will become increasingly disappointed and frustrated with a continual lack of coverage. Actions which are seen to betray the values of free speech and drift towards censorship will not be perceived favourably by your audience. There is a genuine risk that many will turn away because of this.I would therefore ask the following:1. That GB News explains why Rupert Lowe has not appeared on the channel since leaving Reform UK, particularly in light of Dr David Bull’s confirmation that this is an editorial decision.2. That GB News clarifies whether there is an internal policy preventing coverage of Restore Britain.3. That the channel commits to covering Restore Britain and inviting Rupert Lowe to appear so viewers can hear directly about the movement and its goals.4. That GB News recognises that viewers turn to you precisely because they expect you to challenge the kind of narrative gatekeeping that has become commonplace elsewhere in the media.5. That GB News recognises that blacklisting figures or ignoring significant political movements risks undermining your reputation.I look forward to your response and hope the channel will address this issue by ensuring Restore Britain and Rupert Lowe receive fair and proportionate coverage.Yours sincerely
